Prerequisites
Configuring the seating plans requires that you have first created an event. Make sure you have completed the baptism creation step to access this tool.
Importing guests
To start your seating plan, you need to generate your guest list. This list will appear in the right sidebar. Two options are available to you:
Option 1: CSV UploadImport a well-configured CSV file. It can contain either a 'First Name' and a 'Last Name' column, or a single 'Full Name' column.
Option 2: Mify SyncIf you used the 'Guest Management' section, the list of people who confirmed their attendance (via the RSVP Live system) will be fetched automatically in the sidebar!
IMPORTANT NOTE: These two methods are mutually exclusive. If you opt for the CSV upload (Option 1), you will not be able to use the interactive 'Guest Management' feature (Option 2).
Designing tables
Once the list is loaded on the right, you can start creating your tables on the main area. You have the freedom to:
- Choose the shape of the table (round, rectangular, etc.).
- Define the exact number of seats for each table.
As you seat your guests, the system will indicate in real time the number of people remaining to be seated. Simply drag and drop names from the sidebar!
Preview Demo
Once your seating plans are complete, use the 'Preview Demo' button to see exactly how they will be presented on the final interface.
